Photos from January 2013

J, my friends, and I embarked on a weekend trip to a fishing village on the first day of 2013. As a city dweller, I appreciated the slower pace of life and unpretentiousness there. The people were generally welcoming too.

While the rest were playing card games, mahjong, and singing KTV, I explored the area under the sun. I especially liked the clothes lines and the pots and pots of plants. There was also this area with a huge fishing net which was connected something like an electronic pulley system, and I liked that too.

How the place looked during low tide

I really liked the place, but I got to say that it just wasn't my day during our trip there. In retrospect, I think I was very silly and I wish I had managed my emotions better. Maybe then, I would have enjoyed myself more.
